The endeavour was to preserve and
perform
this great heritage at its natural
best. The philosophy evolved, asks only to
be the closest to the natural elements,
interpreting the obscured reality of
spiritualism and philosophy through music or
the sound which is responsible for the
evolution of the universe.
The antiquity
The antiquity & the evolution of this
music can be
very easily traced back from the time of vedic age,
later in the time of the Ramayana & Mahabharata
(great ancient mythologies),... with the mention
of musical instruments like veena,..mridangam etc,
and grammatical terms like swar, murchana, jati
etc., which gives an indication for a very high
standard & scientific understanding of sound on that
period.
(Elaborated detailing will be available in the later
sections)
A brief historical background
The philosophy of the Indian
Classical Music took its origin from the concept
of Nada Brahma..
..which
means that the whole universe was created from the
energy of sound - it's only the sound that exists in the
beginning.
This form of music went further
exploring the mysteries of nature with immense spiritual
interpretation. This great knowledge was carried forward
by
GHARANAS or traditions for thousands of years. Many
things got lost in the black hole of time..
Only some people like Biswabrata's
ancestors have taken the courage to learn and
perform the best of the knowledge of the
Gharanas(schools), stepping out of the rigidity.
